The Distrtict Disability Rehabilitation Centre has developed excellent convergence with Swarn Jayanti Rozgar Yojana and other developmental schemes. This has resulted in economic rehabilitation of large number of persons with disabilities. The centre is also running a number of vocational training programmes and have formed self-help groups of persons with disabilities. For awareness generation, the centre has organized dramas and street plays in weekly markets. 545 persons have been benefitted under ADIP scheme. They propose to build a 20-bed dormitory for the disabled persons reporting for fitment of aids and appliances.
